Player Notes

Aaron's first win was the then-unofficial Canadian Open in 1969, where he defeated Sam Snead in an 18-hole playoff. He won the Atlanta Classic the next year and had his biggest win in 1973, coming from four behind with a final round 68 to edge J.C. Snead by one stroke at the Masters. He was a member of the 1969 and 1973 Ryder Cup teams, and as an amateur played on the 1959 Walker Cup team. . .He enjoyed his best earnings year on the Champions Tour in 1992 and since joining the Champions Tour has topped the $100,000 mark ten times . . . Played in only 16 official events in 2001 due to an inner-ear infection.
