Turned 50 at the start of 2003 and quickly set about building a reputation as one of the Seniors Tour's most promising newcomers. The Englishman recorded two second place finishes at the Irvine Whitlock Jersey Seniors Classic and The Mobile Cup plus a third at the De Vere Northumberland Seniors Classic on his way to securing 15th place on the Order of Merit. A former two-time winner of the prestigious Glenmuir Club Professionals Championship and was a member of five Great Britain and Ireland PGA Cup teams. He was an England Boys International in 1969 and 1970 and a Youth International in 1971 before turning professional two years later. A member of the Safari Tour in 1981 and 1982 and has also made occasional appearances on The European Tour.
