Strong field will vie for 67th Senior PGA Championship

The 67th Senior PGA Championship at Oak Tree Golf Club in Edmond, Okla., is scheduled to tee off on Thursday, May 25. Mike Reid returns as the defending champion after defeating Jerry Pate and Dana Quigley in a playoff in 2005 at Laurel Valley in Ligonier, Pa.

Reid will have his work cut out for him at Oak Tree, as the likes of Jay Haas, Loren Roberts, Peter Jacobsen, Tom Watson and Hale Irwin will all be grinding to take the title.

Designed by world-renowned golf course architect Pete Dye, Oak Tree has hosted the 1980 PGA Cup Matches, the 1988 PGA Championship and the 2000 PGA Club Professional Championship. The 67th Senior PGA Championship will make Oak Tree Golf Club the sixth course in history to host both a PGA and Senior PGA Championship.
