Started playing golf at age 15, holds a Doctor of Optometry degree and still keeps a current license even though he has never practiced. . .Underwent rotator cuff surgery in September of 1986 . . . Member 1979 and '83 Ryder Cup Team. . . With his win in the Ralph's Senior Open 11 days after his 50th birthday, Morgan became the youngest winner in Champions Tour history. In 2001, Bobby Wadkins broke his record by winning 10 days after his 50th birthday.
