Was unable to match the successes of his breakthrough year in 2004, when he won the Open de France Seniors and the Sanremo Masters on his way to seventh on the Order of Merit, but the Englishman enjoyed a solid 2005 that included a best performance of third at the Scandinavian Senior Open at Royal Copenhagen GC. Shot a superb final round eight under par 61 to win the Sanremo Masters, setting a new record for the lowest 18-hole score and his winning total of 193 was the lowest 54-hole score...
