Claimed his third European Seniors Tour title in August 2005 when he overcame strong winds and the rest of the field to win the Charles Church Scottish Seniors Open, a result that helped him to finish a career-best fifth on the Order of Merit. Has consecutively featured in the top 20 on the Order of Merit for six of the seven years he has been on Tour. His first two victories on Tour came in the 2000 TotalFina Elf Seniors Open and the Lawrence Batley Seniors the following year. Worked as a club professional at Richmond Golf Club, London, for many years and while he was there, he represented Great Britain and Ireland in four PGA Cups and also served as a Committee Member and Captain of the Southern PGA and the Surrey PGA. During his earlier career on The European Tour, the closest he came to victory was in 1978 when he lost out to Brian Barnes in a play-off for the Greater Manchester Open. Just missed getting his Champions Tour card for 2006 by finishing 20th at the Q-school in 2005.
