KIAWAH ISLAND, SC -- Saturday and Sunday tickets to the Ocean Club, the air-conditioned pavilion located behind the 18th green at The Ocean Course, are sold out for this year's Senior PGA Championship, tournament officials have announced.

However, a very limited number of weekly Ocean Club tickets and daily tickets for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are still available for this ultimate, oceanfront glass-walled viewing venue providing a spirited sports-bar atmosphere with televisions, private restrooms, and premium selection of food and beverages available for purchase. All Grounds ticket packages also stilll remain for the Championship which runs May 22-27.

South Carolina native Jay Haas, will defend his title as 2006 Senior PGA Champion against the strongest field in senior golf. Tom Watson, Greg Norman, Gary Player, Hale Irwin, Fuzzy Zoeller, Craig Stadler, Peter Jacobsen, Raymond Floyd and 2007 rookies Nick Price, Mark O'Meara and Fred Funk are among the 156 players eligible to compete for the coveted Alfred S. Bourne Trophy.

"The location and timing of this Championship allow for a most memorable spectator experience," says Roger Warren, President of The PGA of America and Kiawah Island Golf Resort. "Spectators have a unique opportunity to enjoy Major championship golf and beautiful ocean views from one place. When not watching golf, spectators may explore Kiawah Island and greater Charleston -- play golf at area courses, visit beaches, enjoy the Spoleto festival, tour historic homes and plantations, and enjoy fine dining."

A limited number of Daily Tickets for Practice Rounds and Competition Rounds, as well as Weekly Passes for the entire Championship, go on sale Wed., July 12.

Practice Rounds on Tues., May 22, and Wed., May 23, are open to the public. During Practice Rounds, players fine-tune their games, familiarize themselves with The Ocean Course and interact with fans. Only during Practice Round days are spectators permitted to bring cameras and seek autographs.

Competition Rounds begin on Thurs, May 24, and continue to Sun., May 27. After Friday's rounds are completed, the field will be cut to the low 70 scorers and ties. Those competitors that make the cut continue playing on Saturday and Sunday for a chance to win a Major championship title and the winner's share of an approximately $2 million purse.

Four important facts to note are:

(1) Daily Tickets and Weekly Passes are discounted as much as 50 percent when purchased before May 1, 2007.

(2) In an effort to encourage more young people to become involved in the game of the golf, The PGA of America is offering FREE admission to those ages 17 years and younger accompanied by a ticketed adult.

(3) The Championship's finale falls on Memorial Day weekend. In recognition of Memorial Day, a special ticket offer is available to anyone with a valid United States Military ID: Buy 1 Daily Grounds Ticket and receive 1 Daily Grounds Ticket of equal or lesser value for FREE.

(4) Purchasers of tickets to the 68th Senior PGA Championship will have first opportunity to purchase tickets to the 2012 PGA Championship on The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.

Complimentary parking and shuttle services are available from designated lots. So, a family of four may enjoy a full day of world-class golf for as little as $20.

Tickets for the 68th Senior PGA Championship may be purchased via telephone by dialing 800-PGA-GOLF (800-742-4653), or on the web at www.SeniorPGA2007.com.
