Played on the PGA Tour during the winter months of the 1970's . . Has played in seven PGA Championships and five U.S. Opens. . . Won the 1991 Senior Players Championship, which earned him a spot on the Champions Tour. Resigned as the head professional at Piping Rock Club in New York after 14 years. . . Played basketball and baseball at Bucknell University and took up golf while in college. . . Ranked first in the Champions Tour ”All-Around” category in 1994. Broke his ankle in a freak accident when his leg was hanging out of a golf cart in May of 1997. Underwent neck surgery early in 1996 and was out of action for two months.
