Competed full time on the PGA Tour between 1965 and 1991, playing in a total of 556 events. Won ten times, was runner-up nine times and 3rd, six times. Finished in the Top-10 87 times and made 420 cuts. Had career earnings of $1,303,281...1991 Ryder Cup Team Captain...Member 1971 and 1977 Ryder Cup Teams... Was runner-up at the 1975 Masters, '75 Players Championship and '78 U.S. Open... He has been called the ""King of the Corporate Outings"" because throughout the '80s, he averaged more than 90 days of corporate outings annually... Joined the Champions Tour in December of 1991 on a full time basis, cutting back to just 30 corporate outings. In his only senior start in 1991, shot three sub-70 rounds and finished 12th at the First Development Kaanapali Classic.
