Volunteer Information
For one week in May 2008, the finest field in Senior golf visits Oak Hill Country Club for The 69th Senior PGA Championship.
There are two ways to submit an application. Completing an on-line application or by downloading and printing a copy of a paper application. All paper applications can be sent to the PGA of America Ticketing Center via fax 800-742-4698 or by mail.
The Senior PGA Championship, May 19-25, 2008 will have a limited number of volunteer positions available (Juniors, 13-17 years of age, Students 18-22 years of age ? valid student ID required, and Adults 18 years of age and older). This is a one of a kind opportunity, so act quickly!
NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! Each volunteer will be asked to contribute four (4), 5-hour shifts, but also be flexible to meet the needs of their assigned committee before, during and after the event. Each volunteer is also required to pay a $155 Volunteer/Uniform fee. Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Note: Juniors (13-17 years of age) and Students (18-22 years of age ? valid student ID required) will NOT be asked to pay a Uniform/Application Fee. As volunteers they will be provided with a Credential good for ACCESS to the Championship grounds all six (6) days, and a specially designed T-shirt and Hat for FREE!
VOLUNTEER COMMITTEES:
KEY
(I) Assignment is indoors in a climate controlled area
(O) Assignment is outdoors, potential for varied weather conditions
(OT) Assignment is outdoors, but in a tent ? NOT climate controlled
(L) Heavy lifting required
MERCHANDISE TENT CASHIERS
Merchandise Tent Cashiers will be responsible for running cash registers during the event in the PGA Championship Golf Shop. Training will be provided with the user-friendly systems that are used to complete all transactions. (I)
Junior volunteers are between the ages of 13-17.
Student volunteers are between the ages of 18-22. A valid student I.D. is required for all student volunteers.
