11)    Top 35 finishers from the 2009 PGA Senior PGA Professional National Championship
12)    Winners of the last five U.S. Senior Opens (2005-2009)
13)    Winner of the last played Senior British Open (2009)
14)    Winner of the 2009 DeVere Collection PGA Seniors' Championship
15)    Top eighteen players from the 2009 European Senior Tour Order of Merit
16)    Top two players from the 2010 European Senior Tour Order of Merit not otherwise exempt provided they are in the top 20 of such Order of Merit as of May 16, 2010
17)    Top four players from the 2009 Japanese Senior Tour Order of Merit
18)    Winners of Official PGA Tour, JPGA Tour, and European Tour events in the preceding five calendar years (2005-2009) and during the current year up to the Senior PGA Championship - for 50-year-olds only (a one-time exemption)
19)    Top 30 from the Champions Tour Career Money list as of May 2, 2010
20)    Top 30 from the All -Time Career Money list as of May 2, 2010
21)    Any former PGA Professional National Championship champion turning 50 between the 2009 Senior PGA Championship and the 2010 Senior PGA Championship (a one-time exemption)
22)    In addition, the PGA reserves the right to invite additional players not included in the categories listed above
23)    The total field will be a maximum of 156 players. Openings caused by the withdrawal or non-entry of any of the 35 PGA club professionals will be filled exclusively from an alternate list determined at the 2009 Senior PGA Professional National Championship. All other openings in the field will be filled, in order, off of the 2010 Champions Tour money list through May 2, 2010, through position 99. If, and when, the next opening occurs, position 100 and forward will be filled by alternating between the 2009 Senior PGA Professional National Championship money list and the 2010 Champions Tour Money List.
