PGA Director of Instruction at Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck in Colts Neck, N.J.. . .Captured the 2009 Senior PGA Professional National Championship with a record 72-hole total of 18-under-par 270. . .Tied for sixth in the 2010 Senior PGA Professional National Championship, and tied for 16th in the 2008 Senior PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club, earning the Low PGA Club Professional honor. Was tied for fourth after 54 holes at Oak Hill, while competing in just his second-ever Senior PGA Championship. . .Tied for eighth in the 2008 Senior PGA Professional National Championship, tied for third in 2007, and tied for eighth in 2006 . . .Winner, 2005, ‘06 New Jersey PGA Section Championship, 2006 New Jersey Senior Section Champion, 2006 New Jersey Senior Open, believed to be the first player in the New Jersey PGA Section to win all three titles in the same year. . .Also won the 2006 Metropolitan Senior Open. . .2006 New Jersey PGA Senior Player of the Year. . .Began his golf career when he used to sneak under the fence at a public course near his home in Staten Island, N.Y.. . .From 1983 through 1987, Britton struggled and did not play on Tour in 1986. Regained his confidence in 1988 and in 1989 enjoyed his best year, capped by a four-stroke victory in the Centel Classic. . .His strong play continued in 1990 and gained national attention with his performances in the Masters and the PGA Championship. He tied for seventh in the Masters and was fourth at the PGA Championship at Shoal Creek. . .Played full-time on the PGA Tour between 1982 and 1996. He has played a total of 419 PGA Tour events, making 222 cuts. Has 23 top-10 finishes, with one victory at the 1989 Centel Classic. He also was runner-up in 1982 at Disney World, the 1989 Hardee’s Classic and the 1992 Northern Telecom Classic.
