In the final round of the '96 South Australian PGA he had a record 4 eagles. He made eagle on the last hole to force a playoff and playing the 18th hole again in sudden death hit a 3 wood inches from the hole to make his fifth eagle of the day to win the championship. Played on the European Tour between 1985 and 1989, also when the European Tour played in Australia when the Heineken Classic and Johnnie Walker Classic were played. Made 67 starts, finished in the top-ten six times and best finish was T4th in 1988 Monte Carlo Open. Won a total of (euro)84,800. These days he plays sparingly from a competitive point of view but is still a long hitter. Has played the Australian Senior Tour on and off since turning 50. Also has been a part-owner of a Lexus dealership in Perth, Australia. . .Won the Australian PGA Senior Championship last November which earned him a berth at Vahalla, making a birdie on the final hole to defeat Delroy Cambridge by two strokes.
