Where can I sign up to volunteer?
Starting April 18, 2011, you may visit www.spga2012.com and click on VOLUNTEER to complete an official Volunteer Application.

What can I do before April 18th to ensure that I am on your mailing list for volunteer information?

You can expect to receive detailed volunteer information and a link to an official Volunteer Application April 18, 2011.

How much does it cost to volunteer and what comes with the 2012 Senior PGA Championship Volunteer Package?
The Volunteer/Uniform Fee for the 73rd Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid is $125.00 ($ 117.92 plus $7.08 Michigan sales tax). For this fee, you will receive:
-- An official Senior PGA Championship Volunteer Uniform, consisting of:
   One (1) 73rd Senior PGA Championship branded Golf Shirt
   One (1) 73rd Senior PGA Championship branded Wind Jacket
   One (1) 73rd Senior PGA Championship branded Hat
-- Preferred Parking
-- A copy of the Official 73rd Senior PGA Championship Program
-- A one-time $10.00 discount to be used at the Senior PGA Championship Golf Shop
-- Food and water vouchers
-- One (1) round of golf during specified dates/times at The Golf Club of Harbor Shores (must complete all assigned shifts or 16 hours to qualify).

As a Senior PGA Championship Volunteer, you will need access to the grounds of the Golf Club at Harbor Shores. Therefore, you will also receive a Senior PGA Championship Volunteer Badge which will provide access to the tournament site all six days of event week (Tuesday, May 22 through Sunday, May 27, 2012).

Each Adult Volunteer is required to contribute 16 hours of time, and should also be flexible in assisting the needs of their assigned committee before, during and after the Championship.  Assignment to any Senior PGA Championship committee will require you to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.

Which committees can I volunteer for?
The committees which are currently open are listed below.  All committees will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Detailed descriptions of each committee will be available at the time of registration. They are:

Junior Volunteers
Junior Volunteers (ages 16-21) will be invited to volunteer starting September 1, 2011.  Please email 2012SeniorPGA@pgahq.com to add your name to our official Junior Volunteer Mailing List.  Junior Volunteers will not be required to pay a Volunteer/Uniform Fee. Junior Volunteer Committees include Monster Board, Leader Boards & Thru Boards, and Standard Bearers.  Participants will receive a complimentary Senior PGA Championship branded Golf Shirt, a Senior PGA Championship branded Baseball Cap, preferred parking, and a Volunteer Badge which will allow access to the grounds all six days of the Championship.
