9: The number of birdies recorded by defending champion Roger Chapman during a third-round, 5-under 66. Chapman had just five pars during the rollercoaster round, which also included four bogeys. It was Chapman's best score of the week by six shots.
47: The number of spots Chapman soared up the leaderboard with his 66, which has him tied for 21st going into the final round.
3.438: The scoring average on the 201-yard, par-3 sixth hole Saturday, which played as the most difficult in Round 3.
1: The number of birdies Saturday at the par-3 sixth (Chien-Soon Lu made the only birdie).
