What a great finish to a great tournament in Memphis! Congratulations to Dustin Johnson, what a way to comeback from his injury. His ball-striking and touch around the greens showed that he is not only fully recovered, but has to be among the favorites for next week's U.S. Open.

This week's HP Byron Nelson Championship at TPC Las Colinas in Irving, Texas, certainly showed us what a roller coaster ride golf can be at times. As in life, golf has its highs and lows and that was clearly on display in the Lone Star State.

As expected, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans provided great golf, great drama and a great finish. For the second straight year, the tournament went to a playoff and golf fans enjoyed some extra holes to determine a champion. And a worthy one was certainly crowned.

The World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship has crowned its new champion, Justin Rose. Rose started the day three shots back from the third-round leader Bubba Watson, who was -17 to start the day on Sunday. Bubba Watson seemed as if he could just overpower the TPC Blue Monster.

Watching the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am this week, there were more than a few things that stuck out to me. The importantce of a solid tee game was evident, distance control with short irons was obviously critical and managing your game was also a key for golfers.
