What an incredible Sunday we had in golf. The end of the Solheim Cup was dramatic and emotional. Congratulations to the European team for an incredible win. And then all eyes turned back to East Lake Golf Club and the Tour Championship presented by Coca Cola.

This past Monday, I played at Cog Hill Golf Club in Lemont, Illinois - the venue for the BMW Championship and second-to-last event of the FedExCup Playoffs on the PGA Tour. I then came to CordeValle to represent my country and my association in competing in my fourth PGA Cup.

This past week's Deutsche Bank Championship was a clinic in great golf. Big names such as Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson and Luke Donald were among the leaders all week - as were up and comers Chez Reavie, Jason Day and now champion Webb Simpson.

I had a unique opportunity while at this past week's Greenbrier Classic. For the third roud, I was an honorary observer and allowed to walk inside the ropes with the pairing of Trevor Immelmann and Michael Leitzig, both in second place going into the round.

Congratulations to Darren Clarke this year's British Open champion. I always enjoy the media coverage the week or two leading up to the British Open. For many of us the style of golf that it takes to win the British Open is truly different.

Steve Stricker wins the John Deere Classic. This is not a repeat from last year. Or the year before. Congratulations to Stricker for his third straight title - and what a way to do it, back-to-back birdies on the final two holes to storm back and win!

Nick Watney’s recipe for success at the AT&T National included some amazing feats. One was in the third round setting a course record of 62, having two bogeys and beating the record by two shots. Another was having a bogey free round of 66 on the final day.

Every player that I talked to all week, even prior to the start of the championship, said the same thing to me, "The course looks perfect, I hope I make some putts."

It's official. There is a Youth Movement in golf and it is being lead by Rory McIrloy. In the past 5 majors, the 5 different winners were all 30 years old or younger!

Wow! Another playoff! What's that... like 137 this year! Actual I think it's 11, with 16 being the record for a season. Congratulations to Harrison Frazar for his first PGA TOUR victory! Well done!

During the first round of the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial Country Club, in Ft. Worth, Texas, Rickie Fowler, 2008 recipient of the Ben Hogan award and 2009 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year, fired a scorching 29 on the front nine! He had his putter hot!

It was one of the most exciting Players Championship tournaments I can remember, and surprisingly, two of golf's biggest names weren't in the mix at the end. I love watching Phil and Tiger contend, and I know most fans do, but this bodes well for the sport of golf that K.J.
