A Lesson Learned: How to put New Clubs into Play
There were two big stories this past week. The first was Rory McIlroy putting a bag full of new equipment into play. And the second was the fact that he missed the cut in Abu Dhabi - by quite a margin.

As an instructor, every student is special and every golf acheivement means the world to me. I get a huge thrill from watching my students make their first par just like I do watching them break par.

Restart Your Game Like a Pro
If you watched the Hyundai Tournament of Champions on Maui, you witnessed the best golfers in the world challenged by the forces of Mother Nature. If it wasn’t the pouring rain wreaking havoc on their psyches, it was the hurricane like winds blowing their golf balls off the greens.

A Lesson Learned: 3 steps to making short putts
Once again, the old adage that "golf is a game of putting" holds true - especially on the PGA Tour. So many storylines were playing out this past week at the Deutsche Bank Championship, it was hard to keep track of them all.

A Lesson Learned: Playing a soft course
Take the best players in the world, wind and rain (and a couple of delays) and the pressure of a major championship and you are going to have one incredible golf tournament. And that's exactly what we had at the 94th PGA Championship here at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island.

A Lesson Learned: Generating Power
Scott Piercy won the RBC Canadian Open, in large part because of his four-birdie run early in the final round. And that run was punctuated when he drove the green on the 300 yard par 4 fifth hole. Wouldn't it be great if you had that shot in your bag?
