Nick Watney’s recipe for success at the AT&T National included some amazing feats. One was in the third round setting a course record of 62, having two bogeys and beating the record by two shots. Another was having a bogey free round of 66 on the final day.

During the first round of the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial Country Club, in Ft. Worth, Texas, Rickie Fowler, 2008 recipient of the Ben Hogan award and 2009 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year, fired a scorching 29 on the front nine! He had his putter hot!

So this week we saw PGA Tour player Kevin Na shoot 80 in the first round of the Valero Texas Open. A tour pro shooting 80 is surprising, but not unheard of. But Na shot 80 after he made a 16 – yes, a 16, on the par four ninth hole.

What a great show this week at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. The incredible play of Luke Donald was as impressive as you could ever hope to see in such a format. Donald only played 89 holes total, he led after 81 of them and never trailed to an opponent all week!
