SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Wes Short Jr. earned one of five Champions Tour cards for next season in his first attempt at the 50-and-older circuit.
It took joining the Champions Tour for Fred Couples to get a chance to regularly play where he grew up. As long as Couples' balky back stays healthy enough, he'll get the opportunity to play back in the Seattle area at least through 2014.
