ORLANDO, Fla. -- The World Golf Hall of Fame is changing the criteria, voting process and timing of player inductions. No one has been elected this year while the criteria went through an overhaul. The next induction will be May 2015.

FAR HILLS, N.J. -- Frank Hannigan, a former executive director of the USGA who offered blunt opinions on television and in print long after he retired, died Saturday morning. The USGA did not disclose a cause of death. He was 82.

Danielle Downey, Auburn coach and former LPGA player, dies in car crash
AUBURN, Ala. – Former Auburn and LPGA Tour player Danielle Downey has died in a single-car accident. She was 33.    Downey lost control on Lee Road 57, the car overturned several times and she was ejected at about 10 p.m.

Venturi, 1964 U.S. Open champion and CBS golf analyst, dies at age 82
Ken Venturi, who overcame dehydration to win the 1964 U.S. Open and spent 35 years in the booth for CBS Sports, died Friday afternoon. He was 82.   His son, Matt Venturi, said he died in a hospital in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
