Cindy LaCrosse won the Duramed Futures Tour's season-ending Price Chopper Tour Championship in a playoff Sunday and took the money title to top the 10 qualifiers for the 2011 LPGA Tour. LaCrosse of Tampa, Fla., beat Jennifer Song of Ann Arbor, Mich., with a par on the first hole of a playoff for her third victory of the year. The 23-year-old former Louisville star from Tampa, Fla., earned $16,800 to finish the season with $94,578. "I'm so happy with the way the year went," said LaCrosse, the developmental tour's player of the year. "I reached a lot of my goals that I set at the beginning of the year. My goals for next season are to be up there in contention and have fun." Song, a two-time winner this season and the Futures Tour's rookie of the year, finished second on the money list with $63,375. "I'm flying in the air," said Song, the former Southern California player who won the U.S. Women's Amateur and U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links last year. "I'm so happy to be a member of the 2011 LPGA Tour. It's definitely a dream come true." Christine Song ($63,036) of Fullerton, Calif., was third on the money list, followed by Jenny Shin ($53,686) of Torrance, Calif.; Gerina Mendoza ($53,408) of Roswell, N.M.; Angela Oh ($50,156) of Maple Shade, N.J.; Ryann O'Toole ($45,806) of San Clemente, Calif.; Tiffany Joh ($41,451) of San Diego; Hannah Jun ($40,406) of San Diego and Pornanong Phatlum ($39,261) of Thailand. LaCrosse and Jennifer Song closed with matching 2-under 69s to finish at 5-under 208 on the Capital Hills at Albany course. Also Sunday, the next 10 players on the Futures Tour's money list, excluding current LPGA Tour members, earned automatic entry into the LPGA Q-School finals in December.
