Brandt Snedeker among Americans heading to Australia in November

GOLD COAST, Australia – Brandt Snedeker says a desire to win for the first time outside the United States is partly behind his decision to play the Australian PGA Championship in November.
Snedeker, the world No. 9, will join Rickie Fowler and Australians Adam Scott and Marc Leishman in the field for the tournament on Australia's Gold Coast from Nov. 7-10.
The American said he was keen to show he can win overseas after claiming four titles on the PGA Tour in the past two years, including the 2012 Tour Championship.
"That's the only thing I haven't done yet, win outside the United States," he said. "It's part of the reason why I'm going down there."
Snedeker last played in Australia in 2007 when he tied for second at the Australian Open.
