Brandon received an early start in the game with the encouragement from his parents at the age of 8. At age 11 Brandon had won his first tournament and started playing in local and regional junior events around the Pacific Northwest. Brandon continued to develop his game and had a successful high school career, including three District titles and one State title. The highlight of his playing career came in 2006 when he earned a spot in the Nationwide Tour's Oregon Classic at Shadow Hills Country Club, his home course, by winning the Pacific Northwest PGA Section Qualifier.
In 2003, Brandon turned professional and completed the United States Golf Teaching Federation Level III requirements. He passed the players' ability portion of the certification by 17 shots, winning the overall event by 13. This marked the beginning of Brandon's teaching career. For the next 6 years he worked for three Class A PGA teaching professionals at their respective golf schools. Brandon joined the PGA as an apprentice in 2006, and became a Class A PGA Member in 2011. Also in 2011, Brandon was nominated for the Oregon Chapter PGA Teacher of the Year Award and Jr. Golf Leader Award. Brandon was nominated again for both awards in 2013 and 2014.
In 2013 Brandon joined the coaching staff of Extraordinary Golf assisting with programs held in Carmel and Palm Springs California.
Brandon's unique and empowering approach to coaching provides each and every student a refreshing and engaging environment without judgement, so students can freely explore, discover and realize their own remarkable abilities to learn and develop while increasing their enjoyment and performance on and off the golf course.
