PGA HOPE - Winding River Session 5

This session of PGA HOPE will be hosted by the Indianapolis Golf Academy at Winding River Golf Course, and led by PGA Professional, Chris Clemens. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. Barla Golf Academy - Indy's Newest, PGA Certified Indoor Training Facility lead by PGA Certified Coach, Scott Barla. On Course Playing Lesson

Teaching golfers the swing is important but to lower scores good golf course managment skills are needed. During a On course lesson I will teach you techniques in order to make better decisions which will translate to lower scores. For On Course Lessons I can do both inside on a simulator at Golf Galaxy or take you to a local golf course where we can work on strategy and thinking through different senarios. In store lessons are 30 Minutes in length At a local course I will play 9 holes with you and teach you as we play.
