Bloomingdale Golf Club will be offering summer Junior Golf School, taught by our PGA golf professional staff, to all interested boys and girls. The program will be structured around basic fundamentals of the golf swing, rules and etiquette of the game, safety, and fun contests. Our objective is to provide juniors a good start to a game that can be played and enjoyed for a lifetime. Beginner/Intermediate BASIC Program Juniors between the ages of 7 and 15 are eligible to participate. Each class must have a minimum of 4 students, no refunds after first class and no makeup classes will be available. All students should have a set of golf clubs. If there is a need for equipment, please inform the golf shop and we will attempt to provide some clubs. Juniors need to wear proper attire and footwear. Golf shoes or tennis shoes are suggested. Please, no flip-flops or sandals. Our Beginner/Intermediate BASIC Program golf school will offer two sessions. Each session will go for 4 weeks, three days each of these weeks. Throughout the 4 weeks of school students will learn the rules of the game, proper golf etiquette, fundamentals of both the short game and full swing. This program does include some course instruction and play time. Group Age Time Fee Beginner/Intermediate BASIC Program 7-15 10am- 11am $230.00 Session 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, June 2nd– June 25th (12 days) Session 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, July 7th– July 30th (12 days) You can Register by visiting our website at www.bloomingdalegc.com or stopping at our golf shop. Introduce children to team golf in a fun and exciting environment. Our program is unique as participants will play all 9 holes participating in a 2 vs. 2 scramble(best shot) format on the Legacy 9 at Heritage Oaks or Anetsberger Par 3 Golf Course. Players will be paired with and play against other players from our academy based on their skill level and age. To participate in the league children must have their own set of clubs, be able to advance the ball 75-100 yards semi-consistently and have prior playing experience.
