Empire State Building lit up for the PGA Championship

On the eve of the 2019 PGA Championship at Bethpage Black, the Empire State Building was lit in PGA blue and gold to celebrate what was a memorable week of Major Championship golf, as Brooks Koepka won his second consecutive PGA Championship.

The 101st playing of golf’s only all-professional Major Championship was held in the state of New York for a record 13th time and was played just 30 miles outside New York City where the PGA of America was founded in 1916. The Ryder Cup will return to Bethpage Black in 2024 as the U.S. squad will look to take advantage of the home crowd support.

Here are a few photos of the Empire State Building lit up high above the New York skyline.
