It’s More than Just a “Demo Day” at Sevillano Links

Living up to its mantra: It’s Better to Play, the staff at Sevillano Links wants to make sure golfers have the best equipment when teeing it up this season. With this purpose in mind, PGA & LPGA club professionals at the John Daly Signature Course (Corning, CA) are hosting the biggest Demo Day in California’s North State Super Region. Set for Saturday, April 2, 2011, golfers of all skill levels can test and compare, special order and/or purchase the latest in golf equipment.

From drivers to putters and everything in between, a large array of golf equipment will be available for demo-ing with knowledgeable industry reps on-hand to answer any product-related questions. In addition to showcasing golf equipment and accessories from top manufacturers (Callaway, Cobra, Mizuno, Ping, STX, TaylorMade, Titleist, and AMA) there’ll be an opportunity for custom club fitting too.

“We are committed to growing the game of golf and along with that pledge we want to make sure golfers are fitted properly with equipment,” said Ron Kuwata, PGA Head Golf Professional at Sevillano Links. “Our demo day is really an education day set in a fun and relaxed environment, where golfers can learn more about the various types of clubs currently available to them, and ones that best fit their needs.”

Free putting clinics are set for 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM and organizers have also scheduled a long-drive and putting contests. Add to that, a special value sale in the golf shop. Golfers interested in teeing it up on April 2, can do so at a favorable “Demo Day rate” of $65.00 which includes green fee and cart plus lunch.

The Demo Day will also include a raffle for adults and juniors too. As an added touch, adults will have a chance to sip wines from Indian Peak Vineyards and all are invited to taste Lucero’s locally-produced olive oils. Quite appropriate, as Sevillano Links is named after the “Sevillano” olive abundantly grown in the region.
