GSOE Men's Clinic Series - Full Swing Essentials & Ball Flight
GSOE Men's Clinic Series - Full Swing Essentials & Ball Flight

Full Swing Essentials & Ball Flight — Build a Better Foundation Develop a better understanding of the fundamentals that influence your golf swing, quality of contact, and ball flight. This clinic focuses on creating an organized starting position and helping each player understand how the clubface and swing path work together to produce different shot patterns. Players will work through the essential fundamentals of grip, posture, alignment, ball position, balance, and setup before connecting those fundamentals to the motion of the golf swing. We’ll also explore how clubface position, swing direction, and quality of contact influence where the golf ball starts, how it curves, and ultimately where it finishes. Rather than simply trying to “fix” a miss, the goal is to help players begin to understand their own ball flight and recognize what their shots are telling them about the swing. Topics include: Grip, posture and athletic setup Ball position and alignment Creating an organized address position Building a functional backswing and transition Improving centered contact Understanding clubface and swing path Why the ball starts left or right Understanding draw, fade, hook and slice patterns Identifying your individual ball-flight tendencies Developing simple practice drills and swing cues The goal of the clinic is to give each player a stronger foundation, a better understanding of cause and effect in the golf swing, and a clearer plan for creating more consistent contact and predictable ball flight.
