If you are looking to lower your scores and have more fun, it is time to get on the golf course with me and show me your true golf game. You will play 9 holes in a foursome with other students so that I can learn your game and create the most effective plan to ensure you achieve your golfing goals. PGA HOPE Skylinks at Long Beach Session #2
PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. No prior golf experience necessary No VA disability rating required Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered Any questions? Head Coach: Okky Masgono, PGA Scramble team format vs another team scramble Each player will be allowed to play 9 events out of 12 events, additional event will cost $25 each after the 9th event. Tentative Schedules: Sat, 9/12: Brea Creek (introduction, tryout and practice on course) Fri, 9/25: Arcadia Par 3 (training and practice on course) Sat, 9/26: Brea Creek (match) Fri, 10/2: Alhambra (match) Sat, 10/3: Brea Creek (match) Fri, 10/9: Alhambra (match) Sat, 10/10: Brea Creek (match) Wed, 10/14: Azusa Greens (match) Fri, 10/16: Alhambra (match) Fri, 10/23: Arcadia Par 3 (match) Sat, 10/24: Brea Creek (match) Fri, 10/30: Arcadia Par 3 (Last match of Fall, costume party, and potluck to end the 2026 season!) Fridays: Alhambra Golf Course Sep 25 Oct 2, 9, 16 Saturdays: Brea Creek Golf Course Sep 12, 26 Oct 3, 10, 24 TIME: 4:30- finish Multi Facilities: Arcadia GC, Azusa Greens CC, Alhambra GC, Eaton Canyon GC, Santa Anita GC, Diamond Bar GC, and Brea Creek GC. It is a 2 team league: 24 players per team. Please contact coach Okky at 909-348-2088 if you have any questions. All players must be able to walk 9 holes either carrying their bag or using a push cart and be able to keep up with the quick pace of play. The format is a 9 hole, 2-3 persons scramble. Spectators are welcome. Parents for kids under 9 years old are welcome to help caddy their juniors. Carts are welcome with the additional fee depending from the course usually around $13-$15.
TOPGOLF PGA Jr. League 13-17 SEPTEMBER Series (Monday) 'THE LAKES AT EL SEGUNDO ***4:30PM SESSION**
The Lakes at El Segundo, Topgolf’s first green grass golf course, is hosting a PGA Junior League to get juniors golfing in the relaxed and fun atmosphere made famous in our venues! They’ll learn the basics of the game, scoring, and receive coaching on their swing, short game, and putting. Not only will they be able to polish up their skills, but they’ll also compete as individuals and teams in different style tournaments. During the eight-week season, practices will be held on Sunday afternoons at both The Lakes course and our Topgolf venue.
