Bridges of Poplar Creek Early Fall PGA Jr. League Program
Our PGA Jr. League program is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls age 9-15 to learn how to compete on the course in a low-pressure environment. Players have a weekly practice and play 6-hole matches with a partner in a scramble format on Sunday late afternoons. Great program for making new friends and learning how to become a well-rounded golfer. This is a developmental league for beginners to recreational player level but not overly competitive. All 5 matches and 5 practices are held at the Bridges of Poplar Creek CC. Beginner friendly.

Five Iron Golf Lincoln Park League-Monday Team We’re thrilled to announce the PGA Junior League at Five Iron’s Lincoln Park location! This is a fantastic opportunity for junior golfers of all levels to compete, improve, and make friends! PROGRAM OVERVIEW: 5 Week Season (no programming Thanksgiving week) Practices and Matches held at Five Iron Golf, Lincoln Park location (1000 W North Ave A200, Chicago, IL 60642) Monday Practice from 4:00-5:00PM 9 hole matches held each Saturday in the 4 team 5i Flatiron League. Matches held from 9:30-11:30AM (free warmup begins at 9AM)! Season culminates with a Championship Finale for all teams on Saturday, Dec 12th! PRACTICE SCHEDULE: Practice 1 — Mon, Nov 2 Practice 2 — Mon, Nov 9 Practice 3 — Mon, Nov 16 Practice 4 — Mon, Nov 30 Practice 5 — Mon, Dec 7 MATCH SCHEDULE: Match 1 — Sat, Nov 7 Match 2 — Sat, Nov 14 Match 3 — Sat, Nov 21 Match 4 — Sat, Dec 5 Championship Finale (All Teams) — Sat, Dec 12th The Finale features the Gold and Bronze Medal matches, plus food, drinks, and an awards ceremony-a celebration for every player and family! Whether you are a beginner try to find the right starter set or looking for the right irons to take your game to the next level, we will explore all the variables — ball speed, spin, launch angle, clubhead speed, distance, etc. — to improve, starting with shaft options. Isolating one component at time allows to dial in the basis of your improvement and build upon it as you go.
