Women's Golf On Course
On course instruction and play, directed by PGA Associate Professional Mike Pevny. Designed to help beginner and intermediate golfers with on course playing situations, course management and reducing their scores. Each 2 hour session will consist of 9 holes of golf, with all instructon taking place on the golf course.

Led by 2020 Connecticut PGA Teacher of the Year Marc Bayram, PGA Jr. League Timberlin offers juniors a fun, welcoming introduction to competitive golf in a team-based environment. Players learn the fundamentals, build confidence, and enjoy the game alongside friends and family—without pressure. This developmental program focuses on skill growth, sportsmanship, and having fun. $120 discount for those who have done the Spring and Summer program. Those players will use the same jersey they received earlier in the year.
PGA Fall Opportunity League Stanley Golf Course 2026
Week 1: Welcome & Check-in Introduce staff to players & families Tour facility to players & go over expectations for program Address safety and fundamentals of golf Weeks 2-4: Introductory practice Station rotations: Full Swing, Chipping, Putting Full Swing on driving range with iron and driver practice Chipping in chipping area with wedges Putting green with putters and balls Each station will have games/competitions with prizes involved Break out players into groups after warm-up Rotations will occur every 20 minutes Week 5: Play-day Participants can practice & play on the course this day Focus on practicing skills before participating in scramble Scramble play for 2-3 holes Follow scramble with small celebration to end the year/season with awards and food

PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. No prior golf experience necessary No VA disability rating required Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered Any questions? This year's Tallwood CC program will be run completely by Director of Golf Zac Stennett and Aaron Smiles and Anthony Garrity. PGA Jr League has been at Tallwood League for 10 years now and we are driven to improve the experience for your family each year. This program is the perfect introduction into competitive golf for your son or daughter. We create a fun and positive environment for everyone. Practices will be held on a weekday after school and matches typically fall on the weekend afternoons. Schedules will be sent out to all registered families as soon as teams are finalized. This program is perfect for middle school and high school players looking to have fun, sharpen skillsets and have an enjoyable team driven competition.
