No experience is required—whether your child is picking up a club for the very first time or already has golf experience, they’ll feel right at home. Players are grouped by age and ability, allowing each child to learn at a comfortable pace while building skills through engaging games, challenges, and on-course activities.
PGA HOPE - Lakes of Four Seasons Session 2
This session of PGA HOPE will be hosted by Lakes of Four Seasons Country Club and led by PGA Professional Matthew Meneghetti. This session of PGA HOPE will be held at the following days and times: Tuesday, September 22 - 12:00-1:30pm Tuesday, September 29 - 12:00-1:30pm Tuesday, October 6 - 12:00-1:30pm Tuesday, October 13 - 12:00-1:30pm Tuesday, October 20 - 12:00-1:30pm Tuesday, October 27 - 12:00-1:30pm PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. No prior golf experience necessary No VA disability rating required Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered Any questions? This is a fantastic opportunity for junior golfers of all levels to compete, improve, and make friends! PROGRAM OVERVIEW: 5 Week Season (no programming Thanksgiving week) Practices and Matches held at Five Iron Golf, Lincoln Park location (1000 W North Ave A200, Chicago, IL 60642) Monday Practice from 4:00-5:00PM 9 hole matches held each Saturday in the 4 team 5i Flatiron League. Matches held from 9:30-11:30AM (free warmup begins at 9AM)! Season culminates with a Championship Finale for all teams on Saturday, Dec 12th!
