Ben Crane wins 1 million -- hotel points -- for ace at Wyndham Championship

Ben Crane will miss out on the PGA Tour FedExCup Playoffs beginning next week.

Currently in a tie for 38th at the Wyndham Championship, Crane is projected to finish at 147th in the regular-season points race. Only the top 125 move on.

But with the time off, Crane can take his family if he wants to.

In Sunday's final round of 3-under 67, Crane made a hole-in-one -- the second of the day -- at the 171-yard, par-3 16th.

Crane loved the shot the second he made contact.

"Be good," Crane said as he picked up his tee, "Come on!"

For the effort, Crane picked up 1 million reward points for Wyndham properties -- plenty to take the family on a trip and get a sweet upgrade... probably the kind where the housekeeping staff even leaves you towel animals.
