Danielle Kang pays touching tribute to late father after her first major win

Just days after her first major tournament win, 2017 KPMG Women's PGA Championship winner Danielle Kang wanted to share her victory with someone who she wished could have been there for the ride. 

Kang visited the gravesite of her late father, K.S. Kang, and placed some of his favorite items along with some memorabilia from her KPMG victory (h/t to the Golf Channel): 

 

Danielle Kang's father caddied for her when she won two U.S. Women's Amateurs, but passed away during her second LPGA season in 2013 after a battle with brain cancer.

The Women's PGA Championship win was certainly a family affair for Kang, with her mother present to watch her daughter clinch her first major win. But her father was there in spirit as well, explained by an post on Kang's Instagram from Father's Day of she and her father:
