How kids can learn and play golf in a fun, team environment through PGA Jr. League

Happy Junior Golf Week.

If you're looking for a great way to introduce your children to the game and values associated with golf, you should consider the PGA Jr. League.

PGA Jr. League is a new way to play golf where kids get to experience a team commitment, which is very rare in the golfing world.

Think of it as Little League baseball meets golf -- a place to make friends while learning valuable lessons.

The mission of PGA Jr. League is to bring friends and family together around a fun, team golf experience. Under the umbrella of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America, PGA Jr. League provides boys and girls of all backgrounds and skill levels the ability -- via expert coaching from PGA and LPGA Professionals -- to learn and play together in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship, builds confidence and promotes sportsmanship.
