Justin Thomas, Kevin Kisner place friendly wager on CFP National Championship game

On Monday night, the University of Georgia will face off against the University of Alabama for the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship in Atlanta.

You can be sure plenty of PGA Tour pros will have their eyes glued on the biggest matchup of the season. In fact, the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide are well represented on Tour, with more than 20 combined alumni teeing it up each week.

To make things a little more interesting, two of the championship teams’ biggest fans are placing a friendly wager on the game.

2017 PGA Champion and Alabama alum Justin Thomas posted this video to Twitter Sunday afternoon, calling out Georgia alum Kevin Kisner.

The bet is simple. If Alabama wins, Kisner has to wear a Tide jersey with his name on the back. If Georgia wins, JT must sport a Bulldog jersey.

The two-time PGA Tour winner was more than happy to accept. He even gave a time and place for the jersey exchange.

Regardless of the outcome of the game, this wager is going to be fun. Let’s just hope these two are paired up next week at the Sony Open.
