Rickie Fowler helps reunite a sergeant with kids after a four-year absence at Quicken Loans National

We’ve seen several military member-family reunions occur at sporting events over the years.

And they’re awesome just about every time.

On Wednesday, Rickie Fowler facilitated a heartwarming meeting at the Quicken Loans National Pro-Am. Fowler had Sergeant First Class Bryane Greene serve as his caddie at TPC Potomoc for the 17th and 18th holes. Greene’s children were in attendance, and they were understandably stoked to see their dad as he walked off the 18th green. It was the first time they'd seen each other in more than four years.

Paige Spiranac, who was paired with Fowler for the event, captured the frenzy:

Greene is headed to Shaw AFB, SC to work in the Joint Individual Augmente Division. But you’d better believe his Wednesday at the golf course gave him an inspirational boost.
