Struggling Lexi Thompson holes out at Solheim Cup, crowd erupts

Through two days of the 2017 Solheim Cup, Lexi Thompson was one of the USA's brightest stars, compiling a record of 2-0-1.

In her match against Anna Nordqvist -- the first match of Sunday's singles -- however, Thompson was struggling with just about every facet of her game and was quickly 4-down through just four holes.

With a birdie on the 10th hole, Thompson cut her deficit to 3 down.

Carrying that momentum to the par-5 11th, Thompson faced a 102-yard shot for his third.

That's when she did this with a gap wedge.

In a matter of two holes, she cut her deficit in half. Will that shot prove to be just the momentum swing Thompson needed?
