National Retail Federation presents keynote industry conference in Vegas

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – National education opportunities spanning merchandising, instruction and business leadership tracks, plus a keynote industry conference by the National Retail Federation, are available to PGA Professionals and industry executives attending the 2014 PGA Fashion & Demo Experience, August 18-20, in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

The PGA Education Conference, held in conjunction with the 2014 PGA Fashion & Demo Experience, features certification programs, outdoor short-game instructional workshops, more than twenty classroom seminars, a full-day youth and family workshop and a special keynote industry conference. On Tuesday morning, Aug. 19, the educational offerings begin with the National Retail Federation presentation of "How Tech is Driving the Digital Experience – Learn What Retailers Are Doing Around Consumer Expectations" by Tom Litchford, vice president of retail technology for the National Retail Federation. Education registrants will learn how digital technology is having a transformative effect on retail touch-points and how to navigate the projected 65% jump in consumer mobile purchases in the next two years.

Early registration savings are available through July 15, 2014. Single-session pricing is offered for the first time at this event along with full-conference and single-day registration. Discounted registration is available to PGA apprentice professionals and PGA Golf Management University students. PGA Fashion & Demo Experience educational offerings are open to all attending PGA Professionals and industry executives. PGA Professionals have access to more than 25 MSR credits through participation in the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience.
