PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- The TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company (TMaG), has renewed its presenting partnership and supporting partnership of Golf Retirement Plus™ through 2014. TMaG, which is comprised of the TaylorMade, adidas Golf and Ashworth brands, is the largest golf equipment, apparel and footwear company in the world.

"The PGA of America is proud to have TaylorMade, adidas Golf and Ashworth – three of the most iconic brands in golf – renew a longstanding commitment to support our 27,000 men and women PGA Professionals," said PGA President Allen Wronowski. "With their leading-edge golf equipment, apparel, footwear and accessories, TaylorMade, adidas Golf and Ashworth carry on a longstanding tradition of transforming the game for consumers and PGA Professionals alike."

TMaG also supports The PGA by serving as a Title Sponsor of the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Assistant Professional of the Year Award and a Supporting Sponsor of the 45th PGA Professional National Championship, which will be conducted June 24-27, at the Bayonet and Black Horse Golf Courses, in Seaside, Calif.

"We are delighted to once again commit to serve as both a presenting partner and supporting partner of Golf Retirement Plus," said Josh Algra, TMaG's director of U.S. sports marketing and global business development. "Of the many ways we lend support to PGA Professionals, this is exceptionally special to us, because of the positive impact it will have on the quality of life of these men and women after they retire."

TaylorMade Golf has led the golf industry's technological revolution since the company was founded in 1979. TaylorMade metal woods, irons and putters have been used to win hundreds of professional golf tournaments worldwide. In 1998, TaylorMade became a wholly owned subsidiary of the adidas Group, offering a broad range of products around the core adidas, Reebok, TaylorMade, Rockport and Reebok-CCM Hockey brands. The company's adidas Golf division creates high-performance, technology-infused golf apparel and footwear worn by hundreds of professional golfers. Ashworth, which became a brand of the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company in 2008, creates relaxed, lifestyle-oriented golf apparel synonymous with authenticity and quality.

Founded in 1997, Golf Retirement Plus™ is a supplemental retirement program for PGA Professionals and apprentices, GCSAA Superintendents, and CMAA Club Managers, which allows them to make their own contributions or have their employers contribute to their Golf Retirement Plus account on their behalf. PGA Professionals may also earn personal incentives by participating in the Golf Retirement Plus Sponsor Program.
