It's one of the most time-honored and important traditions in golf - the buddy trip. The time spent with friends is invaluable; whether it's your weekly foursome traveling across the country or your old school buddies reuniting in a golf utopia on an annual basis.

But the biggest question is always - where? The options are so numerous and the decision so large, where do you go for some much needed advice? Well how about some of the most knowledgeable golfers in the country - our Facebook community! We asked our 153,000+ strong Facebook fan page where they thought the best destinations for a golf buddy trip were. The response was passionate, excitable and very convincing.

So as you are looking for help for your next travel trip with your pals, consider these.

9. Indian Wells in Palm Springs, Calif. This breathtaking golf resort in the California desert has served as one of the courses in the Bob Hope Classic rotation on the PGA Tour many times. The views are amazing.

8. Golf in Ireland. I'm not quite sure how this is only No. 8 on the list, but if you want to see the greenest golf courses in the world, Ireland is the spot for you.

7. Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas. Rated as the No. 1 resort in the Lone Star State -- a place loaded with great golf -- you might want to give Barton Creek a look. Plus, when the golf is done for the day, Austin isn't such a bad town... By that, we mean you'll have no problem finding fun off the course.

6. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Located at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, Cabo might be one of the most beautiful places in the world.
