Azinger and Price withdraw from US Senior Open with injuries to feet

Paul Azinger and Nick Price have pulled out of this week's U.S. Senior Open with injuries. Both players withdrew on Monday, the first day of practice rounds at Sahalee Country Club outside Seattle. Azinger pulled out with a foot injury, while Price has a toe injury. Price and Azinger were to be part of some featured pairings during the first two rounds. Azinger was to play with Tom Lehman and Hal Sutton, while Price was supposed to be paired with Jay Haas and Hale Irwin. Alternate Paul Trittler will take Price's spot, while Gary Lindeblad takes Azinger's place.
