Elected in 2008 as the 36th PGA President, Remy became the first New England PGA Section member to ascend to the Association's highest office. Remy also campaigned for improving the general public's perception of the fitness and healthy lifestyle values of the game of golf... After accepting the PGA head professional position at Killington Golf Resort in Vermont in 1985, Remy became the PGA director of golf and summer sports, and eventually the PGA director of golf for the Vermont Divisions for S-K-I Ltd... In late 1997, Remy accepted a position with Okemo Mountain Resort and became responsible for the construction and development of the Okemo Valley Golf Club.
