Coach,who teaches at Rancho San Joaquin in Irvine California, is the author of Play REAL Golf, a successful instructional manual that helps golfers improve their emotional mechanics. Beyond his role as an author, he is a nationally recognized broadcast personality, frequently offering his insight and golf tips on the Tee it Up Show, one of America's most popular golf radio shows. He also has appeared on the Golf Channel's "Champions Tour Learning Center," discussing his successful methods with former U.S. Open Champion Scott Simpson, and been featured in such publications as the Orange County Register and Southland Golf. Tracy has competed as a golfer on both the amateur and professional levels, with seven career holes in one. He still competes in many charity Pro-Am tournaments, and since 2003 has been a playing professional in the Pro-Am of the Nissan Open at historic Riviera Country Club, one of the most prestigious stops on the PGA Tour. He also is a longtime teaching professional at one of the most successful golf instructional facilities in the country. Tracy has shared his "fairways and greens" approach to coaching golf with players of all abilities; from beginners to those who have competed as highly decorated amateurs at major Division I colleges and universities, and he also mentors players competing on various professional tours. He has served as the coach of California Interscholastic Federation championship golf teams as well as individual golf champions. He holds a Masters Degree in Education and B.A. in Social Sciences and lives in Mission Viejo, Calif., with his wife of twenty-three years and two daughters.
