CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Trion:Z, which bills itself as the leader in magnetic/negative-ionic sportswear, has signed PGA Tour player Rickie Fowler to a longterm endorsement agreement, company officials have announced.

Fowler becomes the fourth PGA Tour player to sign with the company in 2010, joining LPGA Tour player Brittany Lincicome, Ireland's Rory McIlroy and Japan's Ryo Ishikawa.

A California native, Fowler at Oklahoma State University, where he was selected to two consecutive U.S. Walker Cup Teams, was a two-time All American and won the 2007 Ben Hogan Award as the nation's top freshman.

For 36 weeks in 2007 and 2008, Fowler was the top-ranked amateur golfer in the world. In 2009, Fowler carded two top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour, and now has begun his first full season on the PGA Tour.
