Golf for Kids- Ages 11-13, Saturdays 11am
Join PGA Coach Stephen Knittle as we help kids learn the game of golf in a fun and safe environment. Whether they're new to the game or plan on signing up for a Drive, Chip and Putt competition or planning to try out for their High School golf team in the future, group classes are a great way for junior golfers to get a bite-size taste of golf and learn the skills needed to compete, where participants have an opportunity to advance through local, subregional and regional qualifying to earn a place in the national finals that are conducted at Augusta National Golf Club on the Sunday before The Masters Tournament. Dress for the weather, but shorts, a golf shirt or nice T-shirt, cap and tennis shoes are appropriate for our clinic. And don’t forget sunscreen! PGA Jr. League is open to boys and girls of all abilities in our 13U program. (Age prior to August 1, 2023). Kids will learn the game and enjoy relaxed competition in a two- person scramble format that encourages mentorship, builds confidence, and teaches sportsmanship.
