PGA Jr. League at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links is where young golfers ages 4–17 learn how to actually play the game while becoming part of a team and a community. Beginners are absolutely welcome, and experienced tournament players have plenty of room to grow. Our golfers practice together, compete in PGA Jr. League's fun team scramble format, encourage one another through the great shots and the really crappy ones, and build friendships that often become just as important as the golf. Our program is led by Coach Roger and Coach Jorge, two professional coaches who bring different strengths and a whole lot of experience to our players. Coach Roger has coached golf for more than 10 years and is also a retired World Robotics Coach and LEGO STEM educator and coach. Throughout his years working with young people, he has helped 18 students earn full scholarships to top universities. His Beyond the Scorecard™ approach brings those experiences together to help young athletes develop confidence, resilience, problem-solving, leadership, emotional control and independence, skills that matter on the golf course and everywhere else life takes them. Coach Jorge Arteta is our Professional Golf Coach specializing in Competitive Player Development. He is fluent in English & Spanish, brings more than 10 years of golf instruction experience, spent seven years coaching with First Tee and was named the 2022 First Tee Coach of the Year in Central Florida. He is a graduate and former valedictorian of the Professional Golfers Career College in Orlando, has competitive mini-tour experience and is a certified Callaway and TaylorMade club fitter. Coach Jorge joins Coach Roger for our Wednesday evening practices and some match days, giving our players additional professional coaching and individual attention throughout the season. • More Than Learning a Golf Swing Our players work on putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play and full swing, but we don't stop at the practice area. They take those skills onto the golf course and learn course management, club selection, strategy, pace of play, golf etiquette and how to make smart decisions for themselves. They also learn how to handle the mental side of golf. We work on pre-shot routines, breathing, focus, confidence and recovering after mistakes instead of carrying one bad shot into the next three holes. Experienced players are challenged to continue developing their own game while also learning leadership and mentorship, and beginners get to learn alongside teammates who remember exactly what it felt like to be new. That's one of our favorite things to watch, kids helping kids become better golfers. •Two Wednesday Practice Options We know families have real lives and very different schedules, so players can choose the Wednesday practice team that works best for them: •Wednesday Morning, 8:00–9:00 AM with Coach Roger OR •Wednesday Evening, during the final hour before sunset, with Coach Roger & Coach Jorge We encourage players to stay with the same practice group throughout the season because that's where friendships and team chemistry really begin. Then everyone comes together for our match days, primarily on Saturday afternoons with occasional Sunday matches when league or golf course scheduling requires them. Royal St. Cloud Golf Links is our home course, with opportunities throughout the year to play other PGA Jr. League teams around Central Florida. • A Team for the Kids. A Community for the Parents. The family side of this program is a big part of what makes it special to us. Parents aren't expected to drop their golfer off and disappear. We love having you out there cheering, taking pictures, helping the younger groups keep pace and celebrating the kids, including the ones who aren't yours. Over a season, the kids start knowing one another, the parents start knowing one another, and tournament Saturdays become something families genuinely look forward to. Sometimes the golf ends with the final putt, and sometimes it ends with golfers, coaches, parents and siblings sitting around a table together afterward sharing dinner, stories and tons of laughs. We're building better golfers, but we're also building a place where families belong. • Season Schedule Florida Junior Golf offers PGA Jr. League year-round: •Fall 2026: October 21–December 19 8 practices + 8 match days • Winter 2027: January 13–March 6 8 practices + 8 match days • Spring 2027: March 24–May 22 8 practices + 8 match days • Summer 2027: June 16–August 7 8 practices + 8 match days Schedules may occasionally change because of weather, holidays, course availability, special events or opportunities to play other Central Florida teams. • Registration & Seasonal Coaching: PGA Jr. League requires TWO registrations. Players first complete their annual PGA Jr. League membership directly through PGA Jr. League, which includes their official membership and designated player gear. Current annual membership pricing is shown during registration. The Florida Junior Golf seasonal coaching fee is $299 per player and covers the complete season of professional team coaching, player development, match-day coaching and organization, on-course instruction, player pairings, family communication and season planning. Florida Junior Golf is also an approved Step Up For Students Direct Provider and can be found directly in the EMA Marketplace. Eligible families may use Step Up scholarship funds toward our seasonal coaching fee, and we're always happy to help families through the process if they've never used their scholarship for golf before. Fall 2026 Omni Championsgate Jr. league

Our Fall schedule will have 6 weeks of practice and matches. We will have 6 practice sessions and 6 matches. Ages 7- 15. We have 2 championship courses and a par 3 course to play on. We will have a parents meeting and registration on Sept. 12th and a final match party. Practices will be on Wednesdays and matches on Saturdays.

Our PGA Jr. League program provides junior golfers ages 8–17 with a fun, team-based way to learn and compete. Players develop golf fundamentals, short game skills, and on-course decision-making in a positive and supportive environment. Using the PGA Jr. League team scramble format, players of all skill levels can contribute while building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The 13U division focuses on fundamentals and fun, while the 17U division emphasizes competitive preparation and course strategy. Our goal is to help players improve their skills, enjoy competition, and develop a lifelong love for the game.
