PGA Junior League RGV - Summer 2

PGA Junior League Summer 2 Program Overview PGA Junior League Summer 2 is a fun, team-oriented golf program designed to help juniors continue developing their skills while enjoying competition in a supportive and encouraging environment. The program focuses on golf fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork, and on-course strategy, providing juniors with the opportunity to improve their game while building lasting friendships and confidence. Program Dates The Summer 2 season will run from July 9th through August 15th. Practices Practices will take place on Thursdays from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Juniors will continue to develop their full swing, short game, putting, course management, and rules knowledge while learning advanced concepts that prepare them for on-course competition. Instruction will be tailored to help players progress at their own pace while emphasizing teamwork and positive attitudes. Scrimmages & Matches Scrimmages and matches will be held on Saturdays from 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM. Following the official PGA Junior League format, players compete in two-person teams using a scramble format against another team. Teams play 3-hole matches to earn flags, creating a fun and exciting team competition that rewards strategy, communication, and sportsmanship. Daily Practice Benefit All registered PGA Junior League players will receive a medium bucket of range balls each day, with unlimited refills during their visit, allowing them additional opportunities to practice and improve throughout the season. Overall, PGA Junior League Summer 2 provides juniors with a structured pathway to continue their golf development, enjoy team-based competition, and create memorable experiences on and off the golf course.
