PGA HOPE Braden River - Session 1
PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Due to the large volume of interest, if you have previously participated in a PGA HOPE program, we ask that you do not sign up again at this time so that we can provide opportunities for new participants. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. 🍂 Oktoberfest Family Cup at Village Green Golf Club Celebrate Oktoberfest with a day of family golf, great food, and unforgettable memories! This year's Oktoberfest celebration gets a fun new twist as Village Green hosts its Oktoberfest Family Cup, combining our annual Oktoberfest tradition with the PGA Family Golf format. In PGA Family Golf, your family is your team! Parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins are all welcome to play together in a relaxed, family-friendly scramble designed for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Our executive 18-hole course provides the perfect setting for families to enjoy the game together while creating memories that will last long after the final putt. Event Details 📅 Saturday, October 3, 2026 🕘 9:00 AM Shotgun Start Format 18-Hole Family Scramble Teams may consist of 2, 3, or 4 family members. Two players hit each shot. Each player must contribute at least one shot per hole (unless a hole-in-one is made). Junior golfers will play age-appropriate tees to create a fun and fair experience for everyone. Ages 9 & Under will play from the Blue Pin Seeker Tees. Older juniors will be assigned modified tees based on age and ability. Mini Summer Season at Tampa Palms (In House)
This mini summer season will consist of a weekly practice and 4 tournaments over the summer beginning July 7th with practices. This league will be "in house" with one or two travel tournaments. One tournament will be at Bloomingdale on July 18th, next travel to be determined. At home at Tampa Palms will be on 8/1 & 8/22. All weather permitting but we will make up anything that gets canceled.
