Calvert City Golf & CC - Ages 14-17
This 17U program will look a little different than traditional Junior League. At this stage, players are already competing in individual events, high school golf, and working with instructors, so we understand there is already a full practice and tournament schedule. Because of that, this program is designed to avoid adding unnecessary time demands for families. We will focus mainly on practices, with players competing against each other during those sessions rather than playing outside matches. All players on this team have been close to qualifying for a PGA Jr. League National Championship, and this gives us a great opportunity to build a strong, motivated West Kentucky team. We will begin in June and will pause regular activities once high school golf starts. During the high school season, we will only compete in the PGA Jr. League postseason: Section, Regional, and—if qualified—National Championships. The Regional Championship is typically held the weekend before high school regionals and should not interfere with the season. Championship dates: Section: TBD Regional: TBD National: TBD
Calvert City Golf & CC - Ages 10-13
PGA Jr. League Program Overview Cost= $120 paid online to PGA and $100/month paid to PGA Professional Adam Webb. Total for the summer comes out to be $420 for May-July. The Calvert City Golf & CC PGA Jr. League program is designed to introduce junior golfers to the game in a fun, team-oriented environment while developing strong fundamentals and on-course skills. Coaching & Instruction--All practices will be led by PGA Professional Adam Webb, focusing on: \--Full swing fundamentals \--Short game development (chipping, pitching, putting) \--Golf etiquette and course management Practice Schedule: Practices are held once per week on Wednesdays after school and then Wednesday Morning practices once school is out for summer. Each practice lasts 1 hour. Players will be divided into practice groups based on Skill level and age or Team assignments (if multiple teams are formed). Operation 36 Integration: We will utilize the Operation 36 player development model throughout the season. PLEASE NOTE THAT KIDS CAN DO JUST OPERATION 36 AND PRACTICE ONCE A WEEK AND DO THE 9-HOLE EVENTS. CONTACT ADAM WEBB ABOUT THIS IF YOU THINK PGA JR LEAGUE MAY BE TOO MUCH. All players will participate in Operation 36 9-hole Events that will take place every other week! This allows players to apply practice skills in real on-course situations while tracking progress Matches & Competition: Matches begin in June and Teams will play 6–8 Matches against local golf clubs in the area with an Emphasis is on fun, teamwork, and sportsmanship! Golf lessons for all abilities, May require on course skill assessment as first lesson.

On course assessments for 2 hours or 9 holes whichever comes first. 18 hole assessments available also.
